Amber Wilkins


Amber Wilkins began training at the age of 3. She began her first instructing position at the age of 15 for Baldwin -Copeland Studio of Dance in Wilmington, NC. At Baldwin-Copland she taught Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Clogging, & Acrobatics. Through the years, Amber has enjoyed coaching and instructing students privately and in group settings. Many of her dancers have won numerous awards, scholarships, recognition, and overalls. In 1992, Amber opened Dynamic Footworks, which is now Dynamic Dance Force in the hopes of spreading her love for dance with others.

Haily Bordeaux


Haily was recently married and resides in Delco, NC.  She is the mother of a little boy, named Carter. She began her training and love for dance at the age of 2 1/2. She began instructing at Dynamic Foot at the age of 15. After attending Caper Fear Community College with a business degree, she now works full time at the studio. Haily instructs Tap, Jazz, Clogging and Hip Hop. She has attended many workshops and conventions, along with competing and winning numerous awards since the age of 4, including choreography awards. Some of her hobbies are reading, hiking, swimming and caring for animals.

Megan Batton


Megan started her Gymnastics training at age four. After graduating high school she began a head coach position in Laurinburg, NC. Megan was an assistant coach to a competitive team for 2 years before she moved and coached at The Little Gym in Maryland. With 8 years of coaching experience from 6 months to 15 years of age, we are so happy to have her on our team!

Lauren Lee


Lauren started dancing when she was just 3 years old and started competing when she turned 5. She fell in love teaching dance at 15 and has gotten the opportunity to travel to multiple studios to teach, choreograph, and help other dance teachers. She is classically trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary- but can’t help but say tap is her absolute favorite. Lauren is currently working on two Bachelors Degrees at at the University of North Carolina- Wilmington, one in Public Health Education with a concentration in Community Health Education and the other in Psychology with a concentration in Childhood Development, while her time at UNCW she has been apart of UNCW Dance Company for 3 years, and has served on their Executive board. She has won 11 titles along with placing in overall numerous times in regional and national level competitions in the solo, duo/trio, and small/large groups competition. Lauren has taken classes under Jason Williams, Ayodele Casel, Chuck Maldonado, Kyle Hanagami, and many more. She has taken Tap classes in New York, and California, performed with the Disney Crew in Orlando, Florida, and has performed in the Novant Thanksgiving Day Parade in her home town of Charlotte. We are very happy to have her on our team!

Cassandra McAlister


Cassandra McAlister is a national award winning performer and choreographer, specializing in musical theater, contemporary, jazz, ballet, and modern. She has been dancing for fifteen years and competing for twelve, as well as working alongside established competitions and conventions. She is a free-spirited, energetic instructor who puts an emphasis on expressing yourself through the love of dance and music. Her goal, as a teacher, is to guide young dancers through finding their own voice in the performing arts, and most importantly, enjoying every step of the way!

Kristen Huntley

Preschool Teacher

Kristen studied child psychology at ACCC from 00-02. During that time, she taught preschool for 3 years. With moving abroad, she wanted to focus her time on her boys and became a stay at home mom. She is a nationally published photographer and continues to pursue her love of photography.  Kristen has spent many years volunteering in elementary and middle school classrooms. She currently serves in the booster club and Parent Advisory Committee at Town Creek Middle School. Kristen is CPR and first aid certified.

Emily Calarco


Emily Calarco began dancing when she was 3 years old. When she was 7 she started dancing competitively. Throughout her childhood, she trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, and her passion- hip hop. Emily choreographed numerous school wide musicals as a student at her high school in Apex, North Carolina. At UNCW, while studying Elementary Education, she spent her free time building strong bonds and memories in the UNCW Dance Company. During her time, she choreographed various small group dances and served on the executive board as the committee’s Showcase manager. Teaching and creating are some of Emily’s passions and she can’t wait to work with your dancers! 

Devyn Doyle

Preschool/Afterschool Teacher

Devyn attended Johnson and Wales university for culinary arts. While attending, she realized her true passion was not culinary, but working with children. So, Devyn decided to major in early childhood development and social services. During this time, she worked as a full time preschool teacher at Little Learner Academy in NJ. In 2004, she married and, a year later, welcomed her new baby girl. Then, in 2005, she moved to NC in order to be a SAHM. Throughout the years, she volunteered at various events, committees, and school activities for her two daughters. Later on, Devyn worked at St. James as a preschool teacher, camp director, and assistant director for Children’s Christian Formation. During Covid she made the change and began working at Leland Christian Academy and was the kindergarten teacher when they closed down. Devyn wants to say how much she loves working here. She adores the family she works with and the children she cares for while at work!
